Shoplifting and organised retail theft
Entrance face capture at eye level, high-value aisle coverage and exit cameras give police and loss prevention the images they need.

We install CCTV systems for independent stores, franchise locations, supermarkets, pharmacies, dispensaries and whole plazas across Toronto and the GTA: a clear face at every entrance, every till covered, aisles and stockrooms without blind spots, and the parking lot recorded in colour at night. One app for one store or twenty.
Greater Toronto Area, Hamilton, Kitchener, Barrie and Muskoka. Same-week site visits.
Store cameras have to show a face at the door, the hands at the till and the slip in aisle four. We lay out retail CCTV for loss prevention and claims first, fit it to the ceiling and decor, and install between closing and opening so you never lose a trading hour.
Short clips from real jobs on sites like yours: what a clean installation looks like, how we handle a big project, and why we do not compromise on camera quality.

We start every design with the incidents you actually deal with, then put a camera where each one happens. These are the five we plan for on every store job.
Entrance face capture at eye level, high-value aisle coverage and exit cameras give police and loss prevention the images they need.
Overhead and angled cameras on every POS, with footage searchable by time or linked to transactions.
Continuous coverage of aisles, entrances and the lot with 60 to 90 days of retention defeats most fraudulent claims.
Colour night vision at the storefront and the back lane, with smart alerts and optional alarm integration.
Vehicle break-ins, dumping and after-hours loitering are the plaza owner's problem. Pole and corner cameras with plate capture cover them.
A security camera installation plan for retail stores and plazas is a list of positions, not a camera count. This is the coverage plan we start from on the site visit and adapt to your building.
Mounting heights are our field standard: around 3 metres for faces, 4 to 5 for overviews, 6 and up for yards with a narrow lens or a PTZ. Lens choice is set per position during the site visit.
These are the camera types we specify most often for retail stores and plazas, and the positions they earn on a store plan. We install them from Uniview, Axis, Hikvision, Dahua, Ubiquiti and Verkada depending on the budget and the software you want to live in.
Our default outdoor camera for storefronts, loading docks and yards. The ball-in-socket design aims easily, the IR sits away from the lens so there is no glare, and the housing shrugs off snow.
Vandal-resistant domes for lobbies, corridors, parking garages and retail floors. Nobody can tell where the lens points, and the housing takes a hit without losing the picture.
One ceiling camera that sees a whole open floor with no blind spot. We use them in packing areas, showrooms and restaurants where wall space is scarce.
Long-range cameras for fence lines, laneways, gates and large parking lots. Varifocal lenses let us read a plate or a face from 30 metres and beyond.
Purpose-built cameras that capture plates at entrances, gates and drive-throughs day and night, with the plate number searchable in the recorder.
Small pinhole and covert cameras for cash rooms, stockrooms and offices where a visible camera would change behaviour or spoil the look of the space.
Wi-Fi and point-to-point radio cameras for outbuildings, gates and sites where trenching a cable makes no sense. We size the radio link so the video never stutters.
Beyond the four above and the standard 4K, colour night vision and remote viewing, these are the things a store system needs that a generic installation leaves out.
Optional analytics that count visitors and show dwell patterns for merchandising, from the same cameras.
Low-profile domes and mini turrets in white or black that disappear into the ceiling instead of changing the look of the shop.
Cameras tied to the alarm or a panic button so an event pulls the matching clip and can trigger live monitoring.
60 to 90 days of footage so chargebacks and injury claims that surface weeks later still have video.

Installed ranges in Canadian dollars for the system sizes we see most in retail stores and plazas. Camera count, cable distances, mounting heights and retention move the number. The written quote after the free site visit is fixed.

A typical store system of six to twelve cameras is installed and configured between closing and opening, so you never lose a trading hour.
Straight answers on camera count, equipment, retention and cost. If yours is not here, call us and ask.
A small store needs four to six: one facing the entrance at face height, one per till, one or two over the floor and one at the back door. Supermarkets, pharmacies and large-format stores typically need 12 to 24, and plazas add cameras for the lot, the loading area and each entrance.
Yes. At minimum we time-sync the recorder with your POS so a transaction time finds the clip. Many POS platforms support transaction overlay or search through the recorder, and we configure it where your system allows.
We install before opening, after closing or overnight so you do not lose trading hours. Ceilings and finishes are left clean.
Yes. We standardise the camera layout across stores and set up one console with per-store roles, so a manager opens any location in the same app.
Yes. Under PIPEDA a business recording the public must post clear notice. We supply the signage and keep cameras out of fitting rooms and washrooms.
Small stores run $2,200 to $4,000 installed, larger stores $6,500 to $14,000, and plaza common areas and lots $7,000 to $16,000. The free site visit gives you a fixed quote.
