Equipment, fuel and tool theft
Tractors, ATVs, diesel and tools disappear from unlit yards. Gate cameras with plate capture and yard cameras with smart alerts cover them.

We install camera systems for working farms, equestrian properties, marinas and boat storage, cottages, estate acreages and rural businesses across the GTA, Caledon, King, Durham, Simcoe County and Muskoka: barns, equipment sheds, fuel tanks, gates, docks and driveways, using wireless links, solar power, LTE and Starlink so distance and missing hydro are not a problem.
Greater Toronto Area, Hamilton, Kitchener, Barrie and Muskoka. Same-week site visits.
The barn is 300 metres from the house, the dock has no power and winter reaches minus 30. We solve power, connectivity and distance first, with wireless bridges, solar units, LTE and Starlink, then put cameras on the equipment, the fuel, the animals and the lane.
Short clips from real jobs on sites like yours: what a clean installation looks like, how we handle a big project, and why we do not compromise on camera quality.

We start every design with the incidents you actually deal with, then put a camera where each one happens. These are the five we plan for on every property job.
Tractors, ATVs, diesel and tools disappear from unlit yards. Gate cameras with plate capture and yard cameras with smart alerts cover them.
Barn cameras show foaling, calving and intruders, and record who entered a biosecure area.
Boats, motors and electronics are stolen from docks at night. Long-range and low-light cameras over the slips, with wireless links back to the office, change that.
Break-ins and frozen pipes happen when no one is there. Cameras with alerts and remote viewing keep you informed all winter.
Trails, pits and back fields attract trespassers and dumping. Solar cameras on the access points record plates and faces.
A security camera installation plan for farms, marinas and rural properties is a list of positions, not a camera count. This is the coverage plan we start from on the site visit and adapt to your building.
Mounting heights are our field standard: around 3 metres for faces, 4 to 5 for overviews, 6 and up for yards with a narrow lens or a PTZ. Lens choice is set per position during the site visit.
These are the camera types we specify most often for farms, marinas and rural properties, and the positions they earn on a property plan. We install them from Uniview, Axis, Hikvision, Dahua, Ubiquiti and Verkada depending on the budget and the software you want to live in.
Our default outdoor camera for storefronts, loading docks and yards. The ball-in-socket design aims easily, the IR sits away from the lens so there is no glare, and the housing shrugs off snow.
Long-range cameras for fence lines, laneways, gates and large parking lots. Varifocal lenses let us read a plate or a face from 30 metres and beyond.
A camera, battery and solar panel on one pole for construction sites, farms, marinas and lots with no hydro. We add LTE so the footage reaches you anywhere.
Wi-Fi and point-to-point radio cameras for outbuildings, gates and sites where trenching a cable makes no sense. We size the radio link so the video never stutters.
Cameras that run for months on a charge for temporary needs, remote sheds and spots with no power at all. They record on motion and send alerts to your phone.
Purpose-built cameras that capture plates at entrances, gates and drive-throughs day and night, with the plate number searchable in the recorder.
Pan, tilt and zoom cameras that follow movement across a warehouse floor or a truck yard. One PTZ with auto-tracking can replace several fixed cameras on a large site.
Cameras that see heat instead of light for perimeter detection in total darkness, fog or snow, and for early fire detection in recycling and storage yards.
Beyond the four above and the standard 4K, colour night vision and remote viewing, these are the things a property system needs that a generic installation leaves out.
Starlight and ColorHunter sensors see in colour under a yard light where ordinary cameras show grey.
Person and vehicle detection sends alerts to your phone wherever you are, not every deer or branch.
A dedicated plate camera at the gate records every vehicle that comes in.
The system emails you if power or internet drops at an unattended property.

IndustrialWe walk the buildings, measure distances and line of sight, check LTE and Starlink options and agree what each camera must show.
Wireless bridge paths, solar sizing, recorder location and a fixed price, often combined with a Starlink installation in the same visit.
Cameras, links, Starlink and Wi-Fi are installed in one visit so you pay for travel once.
The app on your phone, alerts tuned, power and connection monitoring on, and a check after the first cold snap.
Installed ranges in Canadian dollars for the system sizes we see most in farms, marinas and rural properties. Camera count, cable distances, mounting heights and retention move the number. The written quote after the free site visit is fixed.
| System | Typical installed price |
|---|---|
| Cottage or rural home, 4 to 6 cameras with gate camera | $2,800 to $5,500 |
| Farm with barns on a wireless link, 8 to 14 cameras | $6,000 to $13,000 |
| Marina or boat storage yard, 12 to 24 cameras | $9,000 to $22,000 |
| Solar and LTE camera unit for a remote point, installed | $3,000 to $5,500 |
We have installed Starlink for cottagers and farmers from Creemore to Huntsville for years. Adding cameras on the same trip is the most common rural job we do.

Yes. A point-to-point wireless bridge carries full-resolution video hundreds of metres or several kilometres with line of sight, and solar power covers barns without hydro.
We install Starlink or use LTE for the connection, and the recorder keeps footage locally so nothing is lost when the link drops.
Yes. Housings rated to minus 30 and below, heaters where needed, recorders on battery backup and a check after the first cold snap.
Yes. Secure remote viewing and smart alerts on your phone, plus an email if power or internet drops.

We install camera systems for farms, marinas and rural properties across the Greater Toronto Area, Hamilton, Kitchener, Guelph, Barrie and Muskoka from our base in King City. Each city page covers local pricing, neighbourhoods and recent work.
The same crews, the same equipment, a different plan for each kind of building.
Tell us about the property and we will book a site visit, draw the camera layout and send a fixed written quote.
