Resilient
A company that restarted in a new country does not panic when a site changes scope or a delivery slips. We solve it and keep the date.
About Sense Group
A family company, our own technicians, since 2010
Sense Group designs and installs security cameras, access control, networks, intercoms and Starlink for businesses and homes across the Greater Toronto Area, Simcoe County and Muskoka. We are based in King City, we do not subcontract, and the people who quote your job are the people who install it.
Our story
Vitaly Sukhina started the company in 2010 and built it over more than a decade into a security and network integrator with more than 1,600 completed projects, 7,000 installed devices and over a thousand clients. Then the war came. The family relocated to Canada and started again from nothing: a new country, a new market, new codes and standards, and not one reference client.
The first Ontario jobs were cottages and farms that needed Starlink and a network behind it, and the first reviews came from Muskoka, Creemore and Springwater. The commercial work followed: plazas, offices, condo garages and then, in 2024, a 270,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Milton that went from an empty shell to a live system of 113 cameras, access control and intercoms in 30 days. In 2025 we installed the first multi-lens Uniview camera in Canada, and in November 2025 our Ontario expansion was covered by Business Insider, Yahoo Finance, Benzinga and Apple News.
The company is still a family business. Vitaly leads every large site himself, and our technicians are employees, not subcontractors. The standard has not changed since 2010: a four-camera house gets the same planning, cable dressing and testing as a 200-camera plant.
The milestones that made the company what it is today.
Vitaly Sukhina starts the company and builds it into a full security and network integrator over the following decade.
More than 1,600 projects, 7,000 installed devices and over a thousand clients before the move to Canada.
The family relocates and restarts the company from King City. First jobs are Starlink and networks in cottage country; Sense Group exhibits at the Security Canada expo and begins working with Ajax Systems.
Dozens of Starlink installs from Muskoka to Mono Cliffs, boats at marinas, and the first Google reviews that still describe the company today: on time, clean, explained.
A 270,000 square foot warehouse and production facility built from an empty shell to a live system of 113 cameras, ICT access control and BAS-IP intercoms in 30 days, on 11 kilometres of cable.
The first multi-lens Uniview camera installed in Canada, 157 cable lines certified on one site, and Business Insider, Yahoo Finance, Benzinga and Apple News cover the Ontario expansion.
Enterprise IT and cloud consulting joins the installation services, so one team can take a client from the patch panel to Microsoft 365 and Azure.
Five words the company has used about itself since the beginning, and what each one means on a job.
A company that restarted in a new country does not panic when a site changes scope or a delivery slips. We solve it and keep the date.
The people who quote the job install the job and still get excited about a clean rack and a camera placed exactly right.
Thirty days for 270,000 square feet was not a sales promise. It was a schedule we kept, zone by zone, through the winter.
Certified cabling to TIA-568, Fluke-tested drops, Ontario Building Code door hardware, PIPEDA-aware camera placement, enterprise brands we are trained on.
A 3-year workmanship warranty and remote support after handover. Reviews call it staying reachable. We call it the job.
A small company on purpose. You talk to the people who do the work.

Founder and lead technician
Designs every system, leads the large sites and still installs. Fourteen years in security and networks, trained on Uniview, Ubiquiti, Axis, ICT and SALTO.

Employees, never subcontractors
Licensed and insured, trained in-house, and on every job in the photos on this site. The crew that walks your building is the crew that installs it.
The same rules on a doorbell and on a 200-camera plant.
Every job starts with a free site visit and a drawn layout: camera positions, door hardware, access point placement, cable paths.
Every device and cable run listed, no hourly surprises.
Cat6, Cat6a and fibre to TIA-568, every drop tested on a Fluke DSX, labelled, and handed over with the certification report.
Door hardware to the Ontario Building Code, low-voltage work to the Electrical Safety Code, camera placement and signage that respect PIPEDA.
Camera maps, network diagrams, logins in your own password vault, and a walkthrough before we leave.
Three years on the workmanship, manufacturer warranty on the equipment, remote diagnostics and firmware updates after handover.
We are vendor-neutral and recommend by fit, but we are trained on and stock the brands we install most. Ajax Systems, a Ukrainian manufacturer, has been a partner since the Security Canada expo in 2022; XLR Security has supported project management on our larger commercial deliveries; our cabling is tested on Fluke Networks equipment and built on Commscope components.

Licensing, subcontractors, who comes to site, languages and warranty.
Yes. Our technicians are licensed and insured, and any new 120 V circuit a project needs is done by a licensed electrician. Ask us for the certificate of insurance with your quote; commercial clients and property managers usually do.
No. Our technicians are employees. The people in the photos and videos on this site are the people who come to your site.
We book the site visit and keep you updated; Vitaly or one of our lead technicians walks the building and designs the system; the same crew installs it. One number to call throughout.
English and Ukrainian, and we are comfortable working with Russian-speaking clients.
Our office is at 2200 King Road in King City, Ontario. Crews leave from there every morning to the Greater Toronto Area, Hamilton, Barrie, Kitchener, Guelph and Muskoka, with no travel charge across the GTA.
Three years on our workmanship, on top of the manufacturer warranty on the equipment, which is typically three to five years for the brands we install.
Tell us what you need and where. We will book a site visit, Vitaly or a lead technician will walk the building, and you will have a fixed written quote with every device and cable run listed.
